An effective variety of marigold for natural control of root nematodes. Best used as a cover crop and with crop rotation prior to planting a lesion nematode susceptible crop. A growth period of at least 100 days prior to incorporation is recommended for maximum nematode suppression and organic matter accumulation. Bright gold, single flowers will also attract beneficial insects.
