Viper Wine Carnations

Viper Wine is a hot pink carnation, sold in 80-stem bunches on 70 cm stems. Each stem carries a single ruffled bloom about 2 to 3 inches across that arrives in bud and opens over 2 to 3 days in water. Carnations are the hardest-working flower in the cooler: cheap per stem, long in the vase, and sturdy enough to take the handling that bouquets, flower walls and pomander balls demand. PetalDriven ships carnations farm-direct and overnight anywhere in the US with free shipping, unarranged and ready to process, at wholesale prices with no tax ID required.

Shipping Info

  • Free US shipping on every order.
  • Ships FedEx Priority Overnight for next-day delivery.
  • Pick your delivery date on the calendar when you add carnations to your cart. The calendar shows the next available date.
  • Delivery is available Tuesday through Friday. We recommend Tuesday–Thursday, since a Friday arrival leaves no working day to sort out a problem before a weekend event.
  • Schedule delivery so the carnations arrive 2–3 days before your event. They ship in bud and need that long in water to open.
  • Carnations arrive boxed and unarranged, with no signature required. They travel better than almost any other cut flower, which is why they're the safest choice for a long shipping route.

Care and Processing Instructions

  1. Unbox as soon as they arrive and get the stems into water.
  2. Fill a clean bucket or vase with a few inches of cool water.
  3. Strip any foliage that would sit below the water line.
  4. Cut between the nodes, not through them. Carnation stems have swollen joints along their length; cutting at a joint blocks the stem and the bloom never drinks properly. Cut about an inch above a node, at an angle.
  5. Keep them indoors in a cool spot away from heaters, air conditioning drafts, and direct sunlight.
  6. Keep them away from ripening fruit. Carnations are among the most ethylene-sensitive flowers there are, and a fruit bowl on the same counter will shorten their life by days.
  7. Change the water and recut the stems every 2 to 3 days.
  8. Allow 2 to 3 days for the blooms to open fully. A warmer room speeds opening; a cooler one slows it down.

100% Satisfaction Guarantee

Every carnation order is backed by PetalDriven's 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If your flowers arrive damaged or in poor condition, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the flowers and your order number, and we'll make it right with a refund or exchange.

Claims submitted without photos or after the 48-hour window can't be accepted, and natural variation in color or bloom size isn't considered damage. See our full refund policy.
